Zagrebška cesta 84, Ptuj, Slovenia 2251, Slovenia

Overview

The manor was built in the Middle Ages as a simple wooden fortress intended for defense against the Turks. In the Renaissance, the building was rebuilt and the manor became a representative residence of the nobility. In the Baroque, with the rise of the nobility, its representative role was only strengthened. Until the end of World War II, the Barons Lippitt lived in it. After World War II, the manor was nationalized and the Ptuj Agricultural School was given its premises. After the Agricultural School moved in the late 1980s, the manor began to deteriorate rapidly.
